Flights to Turkey are increasingly cheap and frequent and direct flights run from almost every UK airport throughout the summer.

Flight time from Gatwick to Bodrum Milas (BJV) is a little under 4 hours and the Olive Villa is an easy 45 min drive from the airport. Flights vary from £80 to £250 return per person depending on the airline and the season (flights are often cheapest June/July!)

Other possibilities worth checking out

Your best bet is a direct flight to Bodrum Milas. The next nearest airport is Dalaman – over 4 hours transfer. A non-direct flight via instanbul will add at least 6 hours to your journey time. Neither of these options are generally any cheaper.

There are many agents that offer supposedly cheap flights to turkey - most are not worth bothering with - these two are more reasonable and could be worth a try.

When comparing prices check whether fuel charges, taxes and meals are included. Due to Turkish immigration laws you will need to pay for a temporary holiday visa on arrival at Bodrum airport – this costs £10 per person (payable in cash) and is valid for multiple entries for 3 months.

We are happy to arrange a private transfer from Bodrum airport to the Olive Villa for £35 or alternatively help you arrange car hire to meet you at the airport. The airport also has a number of licensed taxis outside at all times of the day and night but they will charge a little more (£35-50) to Kucukbuk and often charge for handling extra bags.
